Face Blindness in Children and Current Interventions

Children with prosopagnosia, also known as face blindness, struggle to recognize the faces of acquaintances, which can have a negative impact on their social interactions and overall functioning. This paper reviews existing research interventions for children including compensatory remedial strategies, provides summary comparison effectiveness. However, despite availability these interventions, effectiveness remains limited constrained by various factors. The lack widely accepted treatment prosopagnosia emphasizes need further improve intervention strategies. Last, three future directions were proposed ecological approaches, challenges faced children, new potential methods.
